Until now a Censerva platform administrator could see that your organisation existed and what it was subscribed to, and nothing else. If you reported a problem with a port call, an incident or a document, nobody supporting you could look at the record you were describing.
That has changed, and because it is a change in what we can see of your operations, it is worth stating plainly rather than burying.
A Censerva platform administrator can now read your operational records — port calls, movements, incidents, resources, services, documents and the edit history — for the purpose of supporting you.
Three limits apply, and all three are enforced by the database rather than by our own good intentions:
- Read only. A platform administrator cannot create, change or delete any operational record of yours. Not a port call, not a document, not a single tick on a checklist. Attempting it does nothing.
- Two-step sign-in is required. Administrator access is inert on a session that has not completed a second factor. The claim alone grants nothing.
- Nothing changed for anyone else. A person outside your organisation who is not a platform administrator sees exactly what they saw before, which is nothing.
Your own edit history continues to record who changed what. Since platform administrators cannot change anything, nothing they do can appear there.
